Multi-agent economic systems evolution models in informational society

Abstract: Research in the domain of multi-agent systems (MAS) is becoming more and more important because of MAS capacity to design and simulate complex systems, i.e. systems composed of many entities in interaction between themselves and with an external environment. This paper takes up two interrelated classes models of agent interaction in informational society. The first one examines small high-tech firms population. Two slightly ideologically different models are considered. They have somewhat different knowledge interpretation and as a consequence different ranges of application. The paper contains comparative model investigation. The second class of models examines interaction between States. It also considers two models describing two variants of interaction. Main idea of all models under consideration is to regard economic systems attainments (in the broad sense of the word) in informational society and their influence on population development dynamics.
