The mathematical simulation of electromagnetic acceleration of conductive plate in a compressor of flow

Abstract: The work is aimed to the analysis of the process of metallic liner's warping during electromagnetic acceleration in device of intensification of power. Two approaches (viscous incompressible fluid and elastic body) for numerical simulation of liner's material are compared; the model description and performed calculations are given for each approach. The comparison of numerical and experimental data shows that both approaches can be applied for liner description.
