Abstract: RAS Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics and ten other Russian Academy of Sciences institutes initiated in 2002 creation of the national system of control and forecast of danger and crisis processes in natural, technical and social areas. We consider organizational and scientific foundations of such system creation.
