Nonlinear monotonization of K. I. Babenko (“square”) scheme for advection equation

Abstract: The goal of the paper is testing of the nonlinear monotonization method offered by authors applied to scheme of K. I. Babenko and some well known and actively used for solving applied problems finite-difference algorithms. The class of exact solutions of a two-dimensional problem is built in the paper and was used for testing. The class is determined by one arbitrary function of two real variable and four arbitrary differentiable functions of one real variable. Given numerical algorithm has shown good results on developed test system.
