Abstract:
The results of theoretical and experimental studies of the magnetoelectric effect in composite three – layer structures of nickel - quartz-nickel are presented. Samples in the form of plates were made by gluing. At the electromechanical resonance region the value of the magnetoelectric voltage coefficient $\alpha=84,7$ V/cmOe, with $Q=93$ was observed. Using the quartz as a piezoelectric layer allows to obtain the magnitude of the magnetoelectric effect in composite structures, comparable to the best samples based on lead zirconate-titanate.
