The article contains the comparative study of the typical subsystems of the insurance company. It covers the questions of the document flow, the move of the information traffic. The peculiar things concerning different forms of insurance activity are also described in the article as well as practical questions of the functioning of the informational system. We are making conclusion on the question is it rational to use the system of the processing of the insurance documentation.
