Modeling of images of non-coherent objects in turbulent atmosphere

Abstract: The application of the pre-ray-tracing method for solving the radiation transfer equation for the numerical simulation of images of incoherent objects in a turbulent atmosphere is discussed. The accuracy of this method is estimated under various conditions of radiation propagation as well as its effectiveness.
