Abstract:
The indicators of the Russian Federation's foreign trade in export and import over the past 25 years are analyzed. The approximation of cumulative dependencies with a high degree of accuracy is carried out by logistic dependencies for all market entities. Competition is measured using the concentration index and the Herfindahl-Hirschman Index, and the analysis of the dynamics of their changes does not show the presence of unfair competition. It is shown that the sanctions policy of Western countries leads to faster growth of import rates from Asian countries compared to import from Western countries. To describe the dynamics of foreign trade, it is proposed to use an explorative competition model.
