Abstract: In the presented work, a study of secondary X-ray radiation generated by a high current repetitively-pulsed electron accelerant CINUS-350 was carried out. The study of such radiation is relevant, because the radiation absorbed dose near the accelerant significantly exceeds the maximum permissible dose. This creates the need for dosimetry and radiation protection, which in turn leads to the importance of studying the energy spectrum of the secondary X-ray radiation. The research was carried out by simulation method using GEANT4 software package. As a result of the study, it was found that the spectrum of secondary radiation changes weakly depending on the position relative to the accelerant. The energy range is (0-400) keV. The average energy of X-ray gamma rays is within (120-140) keV. Also, the results of the study allow an analysis of the intensity of the secondary X-ray radiation depending on the position relative to the object of study.

Keywords: X-ray radiation, GEANT4, high current repetitively-pulsed electron accelerant.
