Abstract:
With the development of scientific research in the field of physics and physicochemical quantities of solid and liquid substances, specialists constantly need to know, with high accuracy, the characteristics of materials and parameters of any substances. To study the physicochemical characteristics of liquids during the experimental work to determine the density ($\rho$) of some alcohols in the work, the equipment (EDPCS) was used, which is described in detail in the article. As an example, the technique for determining the density of liquids is presented. Processing of experimental data and calculation of errors in determining the density ($\rho$) by the example of alcohols and their mixtures have been carried out. A generalization is formulated, which is obtained as a result of joint activities with students. All this is a proof of students' involvement in scientific activity in the process of experimental study of physical and chemical characteristics of some liquids and further study of the theory in question for new experiments.
