Abstract:
"The gold standard" for the treatment of bladder cancer is currently recognized as a complex surgical procedure such as radical cystectomy. An important stage of this operation is the implementation of one of the numerous methods of urine diversion (uroderivation), which determines the life quality of the patient after the operation. In medical practice, patient survival rate is the main indicator of the effectiveness of surgical intervention. The aim of the study was to analyse the survival rate of patients with three different methods of uroderivation using the Kaplan-Meier survival curve method, and to build a prognostic model to estimate 5-year overall survival using the classification tree method.
