Abstract: The issues of implementation of web technologies in computer-aided design. The comparative evaluation of the possible ways of constructing a software-aided design of distributed systems based on Web services technology. The main requirement for the feasibility of such a distributed system is the consistency of the interfaces through which the individual subsystems are connected. The comparative evaluation of the possible ways of constructing a software platform-independent distributed CAD systems based on Web services technology that allows you to build independent technology development and system platforms, while client applications running on some platforms may cause a standard way services running on other platforms. It is shown that the organization of the operation of client applications and web services necessary to consider the possible interaction problems of distributed applications, the uncertainty in the specifications of WSDL, intended for implementation in a heterogeneous environment.

Keywords: computer-aided design, web technologies, web services, service-oriented architecture, distributed systems.
