System for analyzing reactions of online communities to socially significant events

Abstract: The paper presents a system for intelligent analysis of social media data to identify the reactions of online communities to socially significant events of various types. The architecture of the System and its functionality are described. An example of using the System on data from popular online communities of a small town in the Nizhny Novgorod region is presented.
