The Jacobson radical of the endomorphism ring of a torsion-free abelian group

We study the action of elements of the Jacobson radical of the endomorphism ring of a torsion-free abelian group on the group itself. We describe the Jacobson radical of the endomorphism ring of some classes of torsion-free groups.
