Abstract: Background. Laser structuring of materials is one of the most actively developing areas that are associated with enormous practical potential, and with the observation of a large number of new types of interaction of new types of laser radiation involving various materials. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the influence of structures influencing parameters on the formation of short-pulsed laser irradiation. Materials and methods. For laser processing of the metal surface, a femtosecond laser with a wavelength of linearly polarized radiation of 1064 nm was used. The samples were processed both in air and through a layer of liquid (distilled water and isopropyl alcohol). Results. The internal structure formed by irradiation of the linear-periodic relief is fixed by the methods of AFM and SEM. Regimes for the formation of a two-dimensional lattice structure by the rotation of the radiation polarization vector are obtained. Specific features of the influence of the liquid medium on the surface structuring by laser radiation are determined. Conclusions. The linear-periodic structure formed by irradiating the surface of materials with short-pulse radiation can change.
