Calculation of the inductance of a sample in a superconducting state and its effect on the transition to a critical state

Abstract: The authors consider the fact that the internal inductance (volume-dependent) of a thin superconducting ring in approximation is significant compared to ring hole-dependent inductance. The researchers take into account three functional dependencies, describing magnetic field damping as it penetrates the volume of the superconducting ring.

Keywords: ceramic HTSC, thin ring, critical state, self-magnetic field, Josephson penetration depth, superconducting ring inductance, magnetic flux.
