A sub-hierarchical method for solving the problem of diffraction of an electromagnetic wave on a body located in free space

Abstract: The article considers a problem of diffraction of an electromagnetic wave on inhomogeneous body located in free space. The problem is reduced to an integral equation. The application of the subhierarchical method for solving integral equations is considered. The numerical results are presented.
