Abstract: The authors have modeled magnetization process for hard type II superconductors in form of finite length cylinders in the critical state according to Bean approximation and taking into account curvature of magnetic field lines. On the basis of this model the researchers have calculated total magnetic field intensity, hysteretic loops and distribution of screening supercurrent in different cases.

Keywords: hard type II superconductor, critical state, Bean model, integral equation, optimization problem, distribution of screening supercurrent, magnetization hysteresis.
