Abstract: The article describes a theoretical investigation of electron transport in a semiconductor nanotube with some short-range impurities on its surface. The tube is placed in an axial magnetic field. The authors derive an explicit analytical expression for the conductance of the system as a function of electron chemical potential. The article examines the conductance dependence on magnetic field range, impurities positioning, and zero-range potentials' strength. The authors show that the presence of a single impurity leads to appearance of dips in the conductance dependence on the chemical potential. The presence of several impurities results in interference phenomena in electron transport manifested in conductance oscillations.

Keywords: ñonductance, quantum cylinder, Fano resonances, zero-range potentials.
