Abstract:
Within the framework of the zero-radius potential model, the impurity two-photon absorption coefficient was calculated during the photoionization of $D^-$ centers in a quasi-two-dimensional structure with quantum dots shaped like an ellipsoid of rotation. The cases of longitudinal and transverse polarization of light with respect to the vertical axis of a quantum dot are considered, taking into account the dispersion of the characteristic sizes of quantum dots. It is shown that in a quasi-two-dimensional structure with quantum dots in the form of an ellipsoid of rotation, there is a dichroism of impurity absorption associated with a change in the selection rules for a magnetic quantum number.
