A solution of the inverse problem for the Havriliak - Negami model in detecting breast tumors using impedance spectroscopy

Abstract: Background. The inverse problem of calculating coefficients in the Havriliak - Negami model is considered in order to determine the structure of an inhomogeneous dielectric object based on the determination of parameters and analysis of the frequency characteristics of the relative permittivity. Materials and methods. The method of calculating the coefficients in Havriliak - Negami model using three measurements of the complex permittivity at different frequencies is applied. Results and conclusions. A numerical method has been developed to determine the coefficients in Havriliak - Negami model, which is used in dielectric spectroscopy for the early detection of tumors in the mammary gland.
