Usage of the output data of the global atmospheric model (GFS) for estimating the flood situation on the rivers of the South of the european territory of Russia

Abstract: The method for estimating of the flood risk on the output data of the global atmospheric model (T254, NCEP) using the concept of "model output statistics” (Model Output Statistics, MOS) for some southern regions of the ETR is represented.
