Abstract: The possibility of controlling the shape of the profile of the hollow core in the manufacturing process by photonic crystal fiber polycapillary technology is demonstrated. On the basis of studies of the shape of the waveguide air cavity PCF on their optical properties the authors found that increasing degree of negative curvature forms the core results in a weakening of loss of the transmission of radiation.

Keywords: photonic crystal fiber with hollow core, transmission spectrum, profile of the hollow core, transmission losses.
