Abstract:
The peculiarities of soil biological activity in agrocenoses of the steppe zone in Kabardino-Balkaria
including agrochemical properties, have been revealed. The studied arable soils are characterized by low
parameters of humus, invertase activity and respiratory rate at the medium and high levels of catalase activity. Òhe comparative analysis with analogous soils of natural biocenoses has shown reliable reduction
in humus contents and invertase activity. Ñatalase activity varies in arable soils to a lesser extent.
