Abstract:
The paper compares the results of mathematical modeling of the distribution of gaseous pollutants behind a single obstacle. The calculations were carried out using the open source OpenFoam package. The
obstacles were considered, the width of which was assumed to be 1/3, one, two, and three of its height.
Comparison of the calculation results showed that the width of the obstacle has a significant influence on
the pattern of flow and distribution of gaseous pollutants in its wake.
