Modeling by disclinations of conformational changes during inelastic deformation of amorphous polymers under shock loading conditions

Abstract: Possible options for modeling conformational changes in polymers during inelastic deformation using disclination analogies are considered. It is shown that such changes under impact test conditions include at least 2 variants of bending of macromolecules modeled by wedge torsion disclinations. The model well describes the behavior of inelastic deformation of polymers under shock loading conditions.
