Abstract: Information technology of the geochronological tracking is a set of processes that accumulate and integrate data on geographic movement of historical personalities for a given time interval in order to represent the results as a generalizing graph in geographic information systems (GIS). Hypotheses on the stable tendencies in migration can be represented as sub-graphs of this graph. In order to test these hypotheses, we propose estimate statistical significance of the isomorphism of corresponding graphs. We consider qualitatively new possibilities of the proposed approach and the corresponding mathematic and algorithmic apparatus.

Keywords: geographic information systems, GIS-technologies for historic research, geochronological track and tracking, isomorphism of graphs, test of statistical hypotheses, interdisciplinary research based on GIS.
