Abstract: The time evolution of the density of interacting atoms, molecules, and photons in the process of stimulated conversion is studied. It is shown that the process of pairwise coupling of atoms into molecules can be both periodic and aperiodic. The period of reaction oscillations is substantially determined by the initial densities of particles and initial phase difference.
