Vector solitons generated by the long wave-short wave interaction

Abstract: A vector generalization of the Yajima–Oikawa equations for the interaction between a quasi-resonance circularly polarized optical pulse and a long-wave electromagnetic spike has been derived. This new system has been shown to be integrable using the method of the inverse scattering transformation. The soliton solutions have been found and analyzed.
