Identification of quantum cross correlations between light and an atom scattered in the field of a standing wave

Abstract: To identify quantum cross correlations between a two-level atom and a cavity mode, the scattering of the atom on a standing light wave has been considered. It has been shown that, under coherent scattering conditions, a strong effect distinguishing the correlated state of the system from an independent state is observed.
