Abstract:
The system of ordinary differential equations is derived for the self-consistent potential and pair radial distribution function of a simple classical liquid, for which the pair potential energy of «bare» particles is the sum of Yukawa potentials accounting for the repulsion at small distances and attraction at large distances. The number of parameters in the interaction potential is large enough for the interatomic interaction to be approximated in real fluids. The model suggested accounts for the vapor-liquid phase transition at the condensation curve on the temperature-concentration coordinates.
