Nonperturbative $\mathbf{a}$-expansion technique and the Adler $\mathbf{D}$-function

Abstract: We show that the «experimental» $D$-functions corresponding to the $e^+e^-$ annihilation into hadrons and the inclusive $\tau$ decay data are both in good agreement with results obtained in the framework of the nonperturbative $a$-expansion method.
