Abstract: We present a frequency multi-mode lens with corrected spherical aberration suitable for focusing of both atoms and molecules. The lens is formed by superposing of several harmonics of standing light waves in such a way that to create harmonic potential for all particles crossing the light field. The application to nanolithography is discussed emphasizing the possibility to improve the contrast of deposited structures.
