Abstract: The possibility of the formation of dissipative unipolar soliton pulses in an amplifying medium of Raman-active molecules has been analyzed. It has been shown that the formation of such pulses is possible under the mutual compensation of Raman enhancement and irreversible losses caused by fast relaxation in the system of electron optical transitions. Since Raman enhancement is nonlinear, the threshold duration and energy of a soliton-like object being formed are determined by the parameters of the medium.
