Form factor in transition radiation from hollow beams

Abstract: The form factor of a hollow electron beam for transition radiation has been calculated. It has been shown that the characteristics of coherent radiation are significantly different for conventional solid and hollow beams. Numerical estimates have been obtained for terahertz radiation frequencies and relativistic energies of el-ectrons.
