Compactly supported positive definite radial functions of polynomial kind and maximal smoothness

The properties of compactly supported positive definite radial functions of polynomial kind and of maximal smoothness are investigated. These properties were found by the author earlier. These “splines” are applying in computing methods as basis radial functions.
