Sound waves in a variable mass medium

Equations describing the process of propagating small perturbations in the medium with sources of mass are derived. An analytical method of solving these equations is offered, a certain model form of mass source intensity-time dependence being implied. An analogy between sound waves in the variable mass medium, sound propagation in gas between movable plates and waves arising during hydraulic impact is conducted.
