Field emission rate in planar powder electroluminescent structures

Abstract: The intensity of electroluminescence from an electroluminescent phosphor (electrophosphor) excited by unipolar voltage pulses with a linear front is studied. Based on experimental data, an expression for the free carrier emission rate in a planar electroluminescent capacitor with the polarization mechanism of luminescence is derived.
