Abstract:
An electro-optical modulator (EOM) with a modulation band of 0–900 MHz based on a lithium niobate microresonator with a low half-wave voltage has been developed. Special attention is paid to the temperature stability of the created device. Measures are proposed to compensate for thermal effects that made it possible to reduce the coefficient of thermal shift of the microresonator mode. The dependence of the WGM frequency shift on the radiation power is obtained and the limiting value of the permissible change in the pump power is found, which is 3.2 mW for the developed device.
