Simultaneous controlling the intensity of reflected and transmitted light in thin films of manganites

Abstract: A method for simultaneous controlling the intensity of reflected and transmitted light in magnetic films possessing giant magnetoreflection and magnetotransmission is described. Advantages of this method over the separate approaches to controlling the intensity of reflection and transmission are demonstrated. The spectral, temperature, and dynamic ranges of using the proposed method are described using the example of lanthanum manganite films.
