Frequency dispersion of the impedance of capacitor structures with asymmetrically connected electrodes

Abstract: A method to estimate the frequency dispersion of the impedance of capacitance structures with asymmetric opposite connection of electrodes is considered. The proposed equations are used to derive exact solutions for spatially nonuniform distributions of potential and current. The solutions are in agreement with the results of the 3D simulation using the COMSOL Multiphysics software. The frequency dispersion of the impedance must be taken into account in the development of modern capacitors needed for construction of efficient energy storages.
