Abstract:
The distribution of electrical conductivity upon detonation of a TATB-based explosive (C$_{6}$H$_{6}$N$_{6}$O$_{6}$) is obtained for two densities (1.3 and 1.8 g/cc). A peak of width of about 0.1 $\mu$s detected in all profiles is in good agreement with the duration of the chemical reaction zone known from the literature. An extended electrical conductivity region is observed in the Taylor wave.
