Abstract: The results of studies of the evolution of the structure and tensile properties of Al–Mg system composites obtained by torsion at an increased pressure of up to 8 GPa and varying the number of rotations from 10 to 100 are presented. It is shown that the maximum number of rotations during deformation ensured a uniform structure and strength at the level of high-strength aluminum alloys.

Keywords: ultrafine-grained materials, tensile strength, microhardness, solid solution, low-temperature heat treatment.
