Prediction of equilibrium thermodynamic properties of simple liquids in the model with four-parametric oscillating interaction potential

Abstract: The equilibrium thermodynamic properties of simple liquids are described quantitatively using a statistical approach based on the model with a four-parametric oscillating interaction potential. The problem of selecting the constants of the initial potential for reproducing of the experimental pattern correctly is reduced to determining a single variable parameter. Asymptotically exact concepts are obtained for the inter-particle potential and for thermodynamic functions, which depend only on this parameter (the optimal value of this parameter is used for calculating the properties of the model on the phase-equilibrium line and in the supercritical region). The results of calculations are compared with experimental data and the results of the models with two-constant equations of state of the cubic type.
