Criterion for the pore-pore interaction in deformed materials

Abstract: A parameter is proposed to estimate the possibility of pore coalescence in deformed materials. It is shown that pore accumulation does not lead to the formation of macrocracks and subsequent fracture during uniaxial loading in the region of an exponential relation between the strain rate and the stress.
