Abstract: The finite-element method is employed for solving the boundary-value problem of heat conduction for a thermal model of a complex-configuration measuring assembly of the original rotation viscosimeter used for studying rheological features of liquid microinterlayers. The resultant distribution of the temperature field in the assembly makes it possible to take into account the heat release due to internal friction in it. The results of earlier experiments with micrometer heterophase interlayers are analyzed.
