Dependence of electron beam generation in an open discharge on the discharge gap configuration and gas pressure

Experimental investigation into an electron beam generator based on an open continuous discharge is carried out at different pressures of air and helium. The current-voltage characteristics of the discharge are taken at different geometrical parameters of the discharge gap.
