Abstract:
The kinetics of phase transformations in the vicinity of stereo dislocations is considered. An exact analytic solution to the diffusion kinetics equation is obtained taking into account the field of internal stresses of a stereo disclination. The simplicity of the resultant solution is due to the logarithmic coordinate dependence of the first invariant of the internal stress tensor of the structural defect under investigation. The results of theoretical analysis are used for studying the kinetics of the formation of zirconium hydride.
