Abstract: Aqueous dispersions of nanoparticles are obtained by pulsed electric discharges in water between silver, copper, and iron electrodes. It is shown that depending on the type of the electrode metal, metallic and oxide nanoparticles with the I and II degrees of oxidation, as well as nanoparticles with the magnetite and hematite structure, are formed.
