Polarization-statistical processes for controlling optico-information systems

Abstract: The dependence of stochastic processes in fiber optical information systems on radiation polarization modes, anisotropy parameters, and optical fiber nonlinearity is investigated. The polarization-statistical properties determined for signals in optical-fiber information systems make it possible to simulate new method for controlling quantum amplitudes and phase fluctuations of photons, which must increase the information efficiency of optical communication channels.
